LAMONGAN, Radar Lamongan – The Regent of Lamongan, Yuhronur Efendi launched the Online Monitoring (Onlimo) stationed in Bengawan Solo, yesterday (15/10).The existence of the river water quality detection tool is very important to monitor the condition of the Solo River, which is often polluted.Onlimo is a tool to detect river water quality in real time through 11 river water quality parameters and is connected to the server of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.So the existence of these tools is very important.Head of the Environmental Service, Anang Taufik, explained that onlimo is a renewable tool that can provide data on river water quality continuously for 24 hours.This tool is able to analyze 11 water quality parameters (BOD, COD, DO, pH, Nitrate, TSS, TDS, Conductivity, Salinity, Turbidity, and Ammonium).This tool is equipped with a data logger and telemetry system to store data and sensors, energy sources in the form of solar panels, and a data center consisting of PCs and smart TVs.“This tool adopts technology-based convenience that can be accessed at any time and is connected to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.According to him, the construction of this onlimo is a breakthrough by the Environmental Service (DLH) as the responsibility of the Lamongan Regency Government in the context of environmental protection and management, in this case maintaining the quality of river water.''This tool will continue to be developed.Even in the future, rivers that are under the authority of Lamongan Regency will be installed with similar tools, so that they can be useful for the community," he explained.Lamongan Regent Dr.H.
